My work centers on the seven systems every academic leader needs, drawn from my experience building and growing a school of the arts, and on the shift from leading as a hero to leading as an architect. Speakers Bio:
Dr. Lance Beaumont is Dean of the School of the Arts at Samford University, where he leads five academic divisions and has grown the school's enrollment, programs, and donor base. He holds a DMA in Music Education from Boston University and is the author of The Capo Chord Book (Mel Bay). He's currently writing his first book on the seven systems academic leaders need to lead sustainably.
